Gone Crazy

I thought I had gone crazy yesterday. I heard someone calling my name at lunch time while I was outside trying to get into my car. I looked around to see who was calling me. With each look, I didn’t see anyone. I went to get into my car. Then I hear, “ROY!” I turn around again. I don’t see anyone. It happened two more times before I got my silly self in the car and went on to lunch. I get back to my office and I have an email that tells me to look on the company intranet. There is a film of me looking around like an idiot for the person who was calling my name. The nuts at my job had played a practical joke on me and it was on the company intranet for everyone to see. It was kind of funny. It’s this thing at work where we get to play practical jokes on each other on Thursdays, kind of a funny thing to do to ease tension. This is the first time I have been gotten. The practical jokes are harmless and we know who to prank and who not to prank. I have been on the giving end of the pranks. It is an experience being on the receiving end of a prank. I am going to have to get the nuts back that got me.
