PROLOGUE - 2004
Kourtnee slowly flipped through the pages of the photo album. She looked at each picture of Colt, LaDawnya, and her. Who would have imagined that LaDawnya would find Colt and bring him back into her life after all the years that she had tried to suppress the love that she felt for him?

Destiny had played a trick on her when she walked into Madkinia Orphanage on April 2, 1997. Kourtnee spotted LaDawnya reading a book. Everyone else was standing out in the hallway trying to get a look at the millionairess, but LaDawnya sat in the library reading a book, oblivious to what was going on around her. The young lady had intrigued Kourtnee. Getting to know LaDawnya had been a ride Kourtnee wasn't quite ready for, but it had been a ride with a wonderful outcome.

Kourtnee let her mind flash back to the fall of 1984. That year was full of fond memories, new friends, and new experiences. It was a great time that lead to her meeting the love of her life. It ended sadly, but she was happy that she had gone through the experience.
